The Sleep Disorder Centre is part of the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and is based in a 5 bedded, self contained unit in East Grinstead, West Sussex. It provides a comprehensive service for a range of sleep disorders including sleep disordered breathing, insomnia, parasomnia, narcolepsy and sleep movement disorders and offers ongoing CPAP therapy and support to over 3000 patients.
The unit has links with the regional Neuroscience Centre and with several other acute hospital Trusts in the region. Currently there are 5 Consultant medical staff including an Anaesthetist, a Respiratory Physician, a Neurologist, an Orthodontist and a Psychotherapist. The unit also has a team of 6 technicians and a dedicated secretarial and administration team of 7.
